We went up to St George this weekend for Tyler to do a triathlon. We stopped in Vegas on the way up to see Genesee and Leslie. They watched the girls while we went to the race. We had a great time hanging out with them. They got the girls cute Halloween shirts and pumpkins to decorate. We went to build a bear (I forgot my camera in the car) and they each made a Halloween stuffed animal. They loved them Tyson had a Batman Kola Bear, Rylin an Ariel dressed dog, and Jordyn a Tinkerbell bear. They went to Chukie Cheese, the park, and had tons of fun. Tyler and I stayed with my cousin Tammy and her family. We had fun hanging out; the guys had their carbo load dinner. Saturday morning bright and early we went over to the race. A quarter of the way into the swim, which is the first event, Tyler dislocated his shoulder. They made him get out he put it back in place and they wouldn't let him get back in which was smart because he can't swim with one arm. His shoulder still hurts, but he will be ok. He has a race in Vegas next month so he is looking forward to that. Chad did great though and we loved cheering him on. In spite of it all we had a fun time hanging out with the family and just being away for the weekend.

That's fun that you made a trip of it. I only went to one of Kevin's tri's & figured it's too boring standing around waiting, holding a sleeping kid & wishing I didn't have to get up at 5:30 to not see him :) I hope his arm heals quickly...will he be ok for the next tri he has scheduled?
Man, what a strong guy. TO bad he couldn't finish, but it sure sounds like your whole family had a lot of fun!!

Oh my gosh! That totally sucks that he dis located his shoulder during the swimming! Good thing they were able to pull him out! Looks like you guys had a great weekend! Lets get together soon! Gregg gets home this week! So lets all hang out!
Oh poor Ty! Thats such a bummer, he's such a great swimmer he would have kicked butt!

it really was a lot of fun hanging out with you guys! I can't wait to see you again at Thanksgiving and then Broc can play with Rylin and Jordy! I hope you are doing great!
Aww, too bad that he got hurt, how did he do that?? What day next week do you want to get together??? I love Jordy above with all the sippy cups,, those things seriously just dissapear out of nowhere. She must have found the sippy cup alternate universe.
